Yalaha, FL:  Little slow down with the cold

I will likely adjust the availability again Thursday after I have the Restaurant orders. Get your order in early if you want me to make sure to save stuff for you.

Remember you can always email or text me if you want to place an order and I forgot to open the Market. Often flexible here though not always predictable.

If you Want to pick up the order at the Chillax Drum Circle in the Villages Sunday Afternoons, just let me know so I can bring it along. If you are with a homeschool group or other facebook group I attend events regularly, Let me know so I can plan accordingly. Otherwise when ordering, remember to let me know when you want to come pick up at the farm. If I don’t email you back to confirm, the order may not have gone through. To make an order you must be signed in, and you add products to your cart individually and then to check out you must go to your cart (Left side of screen near the top of the Market page) to do the check out and actually place the order.

The regular ordering window is now (as in whenever I open the Market) through Thursday 8am for Friday-Sunday pickup. However, if I send this Out Thursday, It has what is available after the Restaurants have ordered and you can place an order for pickup whenever we arrange it. (Or check with me tclynx@aquaponiclynx.com or text 407-342-8515 if you might want to pick up sooner or for special arrangements, I’m usually flexible.)

I may still be able to take orders after Thursday Morning but can’t guarantee availability of things as I may have already packed them for the Restaurants.
Ordering window is Monday Afternoon (or when I open it) through Thursday Morning and pick up will be Friday-Sunday by appointment until we expand more, Please indicate when you would like to pick up when you place your order.

I’m repeating myself now…..

Remember to tell me when you want to pick up! (and if I don’t reply to confirm within a day, bump my e-mail or text me 407-342-8515. Though I have cleaned up my e-mail so hopefully I won’t Miss Anyone.)

Sign in to order. https://yalaha.locallygrown.net/market

You have to sign in to see the add to cart button. Then set the number and click the add to cart button on the items you want to buy (it is the little picture right next to the quantity box.) Remember you need to check out before your order will be placed.
Remember to let me know when you want to pick up on Sat or maybe even Friday late afternoon or on Sunday. (If I don’t send you an e-mail confirmation of your order and pick up time, please make sure you checked out and completed your order.)

Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market:  A Farewll and a New Beginning

As we turn the page on another year and begin a brand-new chapter, I have some personal news to share about my own journey. After 15 incredible years, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to close the chapter on my food business.

This venture has brought me immense joy—growing fresh fruits, herbs, and vegetables on my farm, and transforming them into dishes for my online market, catering services, and farmstand. What began as a passion to provide clean, fresh foods for families blossomed into a fulfilling journey that touched so many lives, including my own.

Over the years, I’ve baked breads and pastries, created soups, sauces, salads, and entrees, and shared these with you through farmer’s markets, coffee shops, schools in Cherokee County, and special events. From catering gatherings to serving as a chef, every step of this journey has been meaningful, allowing me to do what I love while raising my three children and supporting their many activities.

As my youngest prepares to graduate and our family looks toward significant changes this year, I’ve realized the demands of maintaining a 7-acre farm and producing food for my market are no longer sustainable. By the end of this year, we’ll transition off the farm, and I’ll focus on new priorities, including spending more time with my family.

While I won’t be cooking regularly, I will still take on a few private events or special requests occasionally. And if I have extra fruits and veggies this summer, I’ll be sure to share them with you through my Chef Amy’s Facebook page.

To all the wonderful friends and customers I’ve met over the years, I am deeply grateful for your support, encouragement, and kindness. You’ve been a part of this incredible journey, and I carry each memory with me as I step into this new season of life.

Thank you for everything,
Chef Amy

Foothills Market:  The Market is Open!

It looks like the weather is going to be challenging for farming. Foothills Market will be open this week, but the weather may make some adjustment necessary. For example, orders may have to be reduced or cancelled altogether if cold temperatures damage the fresh vegetables.

On the positive side, though, we have plenty of items on the market that aren’t affected by the cold weather. We have a good variety of locally-grown meats and home-baked goods to choose from. Browse and make your choices between now and Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., and click the button to finalize your order. We’ll have your items ready for pickup on Thursday afternoon.

Eat something fresh this week – and stay warm!
